Client Managed Personal Attendant Services (CMPAS)

CMPAS is a personal care assistant program administered through Helping Restore Ability (Helping Restore Ability) & is offered to adults with various disabilities.

Consumer Directed Services (CDS)

The program empowers consumers to make personal decisions related to the delivery of Personal Assistance Services and Respite Services within his or her current home.

Medically Dependent Children Waiver Program (MDCP)

The Medically Dependent Children Waiver Program provides respite care for families with medically involved children and young adults, as a cost-effective alternative to providing for their care in a nursing facility.

Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS)

Helping Restore Ability provides in-home supports to people with any type of disability referred through the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex area.

Home Health

Helping Restore Ability is a licensed home health agency. We provides services, which include skilled nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Home Health Aide Services.

Mental Health Mental Retardation (MHMR) Service Referrals

provides services to individuals with mental retardation or autism living in their own homes through contracts with the local Mental Health Mental Retardation (MHMR) centers in Fort Worth and Dallas.

Primary Home Care (PHC)

Primary Home Care provides three different types of services: Community Attendants, Primary Home Care Program, and Family Care.

Private Pay

If you do not qualify for Medicaid, but would like to receive in home supports that are non-medical in nature, we can provide attendant care and respite care services through our private pay option.


Respite Care

Helping Restore Ability provides planned or emergency short term
relief services to the individual’s unpaid caregiver when the
primary caregiver is temporarily unavailable.
